Brassica tournefortii

February 9, 2020

In Utah, just near the South trips to Zion National Park. Found on Hwy 9 in La Vertin uphill from N100E, across from La Quinta Inn and Suites. I’ve brought some back to Palm Springs but have been unable to establish it in my test patch.

Water molds are specific on particular species and this one offers a great opportunity because it likely means it would attack only Brassica tournefortii. Alas water molds are very peculiar life forms.
